WARRANTIES 2000 MOTORCYCLE PLATINUM INSURANCE

The following components are covered against Mechanical Breakdown (as defined elsewhere in this document) of those items listed below. Please note that parts not listed are specifically excluded.

ALL MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL AND COMPONENTS ARE COVERED.

EXCEPTIONS: Bodywork, paint, trim, glass, saddles and panniers.

Normal wear and tear/service items and other components that are subject to routine maintenance or periodic replacement or repair, including (but not limited to) spark plugs, H.T. leads, clutch facings, brake frictional materials, chains, belts, sprockets, cables, light units and bulbs, batteries, tyres, exhaust systems.

Stereo units, communications systems, after market alarms and connected equipment.
Parts/Accessories not approved by the manufacturer/concessionaire after the tim of the original sale.

ADDITINAL BENEFITS

VEHICAL HIRE. In the event of a valid claim and provided the manufactures repair time is in excess of 8 working hours, a maximum of £45 per day inclusive of V.A.T, but exclusive of fuel and insurance may be claimed for a maximum of 7 days from the time the repairs are started provided prior approval has been obtained from WARRANTIES 2000.

RECOVERY. In the event of a valid claim a maximum of £60 per claim inclusive of V.A.T will be reimbursed.

EUROPEAN USE. The limits of the warranty are extended to cover the vehicle whilst outside of the U.K but within the E.U for a period of not more than 60 days in any 12 month period.

RENEWAL. The warranty is renewable subject to the approval of WARRANTIES 2000.
